About the job
In this role, you will provide:
• Customer Service: Assist with registration, concession stand operations, and inquiries.
• Revenue Management: Handle cash transactions, manage cash flow, prepare deposits, and process refunds. Manage inventory and sales.
• Training and Guidance: Train and orient students, provide feedback, and ensure adherence to procedures.
• Clerical Services: Answer customer inquiries, process mail, maintain files, and prepare forms. Use office equipment and software.

What you bring to the team
Mandatory requirements
• You must have a valid class G driver's license or equivalent, as recognized by the Province of Ontario. The offer of employment is conditional on the successful candidate providing proof that they have a valid driver's license before being hired.
Customer Service and Communication skills
• Knowledge of customer service standards, including in-person interactions and telephone etiquette.
• Communication skills to convey information, discuss and resolve issues or complaints, and respond to inquiries in a courteous and professional manner.
• Ability to provide guidance and feedback to students during training and orientation.
Clerical and Financial Administrative skills
• Knowledge of standard office methods and procedures.
• Proficiency in operating office equipment such as Microsoft Office applications and the Provincial Parks Reservation System.
• Organizational skills to plan and coordinate tasks.
• Familiarity with general sales, revenue, and accounting business practices.
• Proficiency in managing cash floats, reconciling cash flow, preparing bank deposits, processing refunds and managing inventory.
Critical-Thinking and Problem-Solving skills
• Ability to identify discrepancies and assess the urgency of inquiries or situations.
• Ability to resolve issues and exercise self-directed judgment but also refer complex issues to supervisors when necessary.
