About the job

In this role, you will:

• Analyze and evaluate policy and program data using quantitative methods to identify trends and emerging issues.
• Carry out economic research and develop models to assess the environmental and economic impacts of proposed measures, including emissions-reduction initiatives.
• Conduct policy and issue analysis to support policy and program development.
• Participate in impact analysis and prepare cost/benefit estimates for policy or program changes, tracking and validating results.
• Work with internal and external partners to share research findings, exchange information, and support effective decision-making.

What you bring to the team


Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:

You have:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills applied to policy, program, or research work.
• Experience conducting policy research and analyzing trends, issues, or outcomes.
• Knowledge of financial and statistical analysis techniques.
• Ability to assess complex information to support policy development and decision-making.

Economic and Technical Expertise:

You have:
• Skill in qualitative and quantitative analysis to evaluate policy and program options.
• Knowledge of economic methods, modelling techniques, and statistical tools.
• Experience with research methods, financial modelling, or econometric analysis.
• Understanding of environmental concepts, policies, or trends that support your analysis.

Communication and Interpersonal Skills:

You have:
• Ability to prepare written materials such as reports, summaries, or presentations.
• Strong consultation and presentation skills to share findings with internal and external partners.
• Ability to respond to requests for information using tact and professionalism.
