The Ministry of Infrastructure (MOI) is looking for an enthusiastic leader to help us transform workplaces and boost collaboration. You'll manage key accommodation and infrastructure projects, working with partners like Infrastructure Ontario. We're seeking an individual with strong leadership, project management, and strategic planning skills. Help us optimize space, align strategies, and create a better future

About the job

You will:

• Coordinate and deliver client services to different divisions and branches.
• Plan and implement accommodation and infrastructure projects.
• Lead the planning and delivery of these projects.
• Develop and manage strategic asset management plans.
• Work with program leaders to understand their needs and create plans.
• Collaborate to meet expectations, solve problems, and focus on client solutions.

Please note:
• Occasional travel to project sites across the province, as required.

What you bring to the team


Communication, Relationship Management and Consultation Skills

You have:
• strong communication skills to prepare and present business cases, and provide recommendations to senior management.
• excellent customer service, relationship management, and interpersonal skills.
• consultation, negotiation and influencing skills.

Asset Management, Planning and Policy Development Knowledge

You have:
• Knowledge of asset management theories, principles, practices, and methods.
• Ability to interpret and apply relevant legislation, regulations, standards, guidelines, policies, and directives.
• Experience with various accommodation and facilities processes.

Project Management, Leadership and Organizational Skills

You have:
• Project management expertise to lead complex capital and accommodation planning projects.
• Strong leadership skills to guide and lead the team.
• Ability to plan, organize, coordinate, and evaluate the client's capital and accommodation program and service delivery.

Strategic and Financial Management and Analytical Skills

You can:
• Use strategic management, analytical, and conceptual skills.
• Apply financial management skills.
• Assess client requirements and resolve complex project issues and operational problems.
