In this role, you will:
• Work on a team of of data professionals focused on property tax and assessment data validation;
• Analyze and visualize data to identify patterns and provide insights;
• Provide expert advice on data collection and analysis strategies;
• Support analysis and verification of large-scale datasets to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with legislation.

Data Analysis, Data Governance and Data Management Knowledge
Bring your experience working with data and supporting reliable, high-quality information.
• Knowledge of data collection, cleaning, analysis, mining, and modelling techniques.
• Understanding of data management, quantitative analysis, and quality assurance.
• Experience using business intelligence, analytics, and reporting tools and platforms.
• Ability to support data governance by applying internal principles, guidelines, and processes.
• Understanding of data quality assurance methods and tools.
Analytical and Problem Solving Skills
Use strong analytical thinking to turn complex information into clear, meaningful insights.
• Ability to assess data, identify patterns and trends, and translate findings into practical recommendations.
• Sound judgment in selecting analytical methods that protect data integrity and produce accurate results.
• Capacity to research and assess data analysis and data management.
Communication and Interpersonal skills:
Support effective collaboration and share information clearly with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work respectfully and effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Skill in preparing and presenting reports, dashboards, visualizations, and other analytical products.
• Ability to build and maintain collaborative working relationships with internal teams, municipalities, and external stakeholders.
Technical Knowledge:
Apply the technical expertise needed to support data analytics across the organization.
• Understanding of government strategic directions, , and policies related to data analytics.
• Experience with computer operations, data visualization and analysis software, modelling techniques, and related tools.
