The Ontario Land Tribunal (OLT) hears and adjudicates matters related to land use planning, environmental and natural features, heritage protection, land valuation, land compensation, municipal finance, and related matters.
The Business Solutions team plays a key role in supporting the Tribunal's mandate by delivering reliable and timely operations support and advancing digital modernization projects. About the job

In this role you will:
• provide technical and functional support for business applications, systems, and tools
• troubleshoot, analyse, and resolve system and application issues, ensuring timely resolution
• lead and coordinate multiple solution initiatives
• develop and deliver training, guidance, and user support manual for new and enhanced systems and business processes.
• design, develop, and maintain templates, technical documentation, operational manuals, and standard procedures
• monitor system performance and user feedback to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and optimization
• prepare reports, presentations, options, and recommendations to support decision making

What you bring to the team


Technical Skills:

You have:
• knowledge of operations support principles, including diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues, and providing clear, structured, step-by-step resolutions to end users
• experience working with a range of business applications, programming languages, and tools, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies
• understanding of system development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, including requirements analysis, solution design, development, testing, and deployment
• ability to document technical processes, issues, and resolutions in a clear and organized manner

Analytical and Problem Solving Skills:

You can:
• analyse complex business and technical issues, identify root causes, and develop practical, effective resolutions
• assess information, evaluate options, and make sound recommendations
• manage multiple issues and priorities, applying judgment to determine urgency and appropriate course of action
