The Ontario Land Tribunal (OLT) hears and adjudicates matters related to land use planning, environmental and natural features, heritage protection, land valuation, land compensation, municipal finance, and related matters.

The Business Solutions team plays a key rolein supporting the Tribunal's mandate by delivering reliable operational support and advancing digital modernization projects. About the job

In this role, you will:

• Analyse statistical data and develop reports and dashboards to communicate trends and insights to management.
• Provide data analysis expertise to support the design, development, testing, maintenance, and enhancement of OLT business.
• Lead and manage projects to ensure timely and successful delivery.
• Collaborate with program areas to identify data requirements and support enhancements to reporting systems.
• Prepare analytical reports, briefing materials, presentations, and operational recommendations.

What you bring to the team


Technical Skills:

You have:

• An understanding of how to analyse data and provide Business Intelligence (BI) related to OLT business activities and operational efficiencies.
• Develop data reporting tools to meet data requirements and to develop data representations such as dashboards, charts, and paginated reports.
• Use reporting and analytic systems and tools such as Power BI, SSRS, SQL, and DAX .
• Proficient with various computer applications to interpret, manipulate and analyse statistical data, understand database relationships and customize data.

Research, Analysis and Project Management Skills:

You can:

• Demonstrate effective research, analytical techniques to analyse data.
• Interpret statistical findings, identify changing data/information needs, and develop recommendations for additional data reporting requirements.
• Plan and lead analytical projects and provide guidance to project teams.
• Demonstrate planning and organizational skills.

Communication and Consultation Skills

You have:

• Oral communication and presentation skills to participate on working groups, and deliver recommendations.
• Ability to summarize findings, and prepare research reports, analyses, recommendations, data summary reports and presentations for senior level decision-making.
• Consultation and interpersonal skills to develop working relationships.
