Are you experienced in managing stakeholder relationships and coordinating projects?

The Health Capital Policy and Planning Branch, Project Management Office is looking for a strong communicator to help lead the development and coordination of strategic plans and ministry initiatives that support major health capital projects.

About the job

• Lead, consult and coordinate the development and integration of project management tools and processes
• Manage effective information sharing, relationship management and knowledge transfer supporting the ministry's capital programs
• Lead the development of capital program tools and templates
• Develop and deliver training across the division

What you bring to the team


Project Management/Leadership

You have:

• conceptual, analytical, evaluation, and problem solving skills.
• experience in project management, project coordination, strategic planning, and operational planning.
• experience evaluating projects, policies, and processes to ensure compliance with industry best practices.
• the ability to provide project leadership in a high-profile program area.

Communication and Facilitation Skills

You can:

• build stakeholder relations, have consensus building and negotiation skills.
• facilitate the effective transfer of knowledge to staff and stakeholders through different training methods.
• develop and present a variety of communications materials and reports such as policy/procedures development and training tools/materials to senior management and stakeholders.

Research and Procurement Knowledge and Skills

You have:

• the ability to use knowledge of research methodologies and techniques.
• the ability to interpret and apply policies, program frameworks and legislation.
• knowledge of Information Management Lifecycle and Knowledge Management principles and practices.
• knowledge of financial management, procurement, tendering and contract management.

Computer Skills

You have:

• experience with software applications such as MS Excel and MS Access.
• experience with database design, using VBA and SQL coding and other related components of information management systems and applications.
