About the job

In this role, you will:

• Manage land use planning projects, including research, analysis, public consultation, and policy recommendations.
• Review and analyze planning issues, assess impacts, and make recommendations.
• Prepare concise reports and briefing notes for senior staff.
• Respond to inquiries from the public, stakeholders, and municipalities.
• Present to senior staff, other ministries, stakeholders, and municipalities.
• Collaborate on project teams in a multi-stakeholder environment.

• Research, develop, review, and analyze land use planning policies to create effective recommendations.

Technical knowledge and Computer skills:

• Familiar with land use planning systems and can interpret provincial policies and legislation.
• Proficient with various computer software.

Computer skills:

• You are proficient with computer applications such as word processing, spreadsheets, database management, and presentation software to research and prepare briefing materials and reports.
