At the Child and Parent Resource Institute (CPRI) we provide highly specialized trauma-informed mental health and developmental services. These services include Assessment, Consultation, Treatment, Research and Education. We work with local community services, building on what they have already done and use evidence based practices to adapt our approach to the unique needs of each child. CPRI is looking for a On Call Housekeeping Cleaners to perform housekeeping/cleaning services at CPRI and to maintain the required standards of cleanliness in all designated areas.
About the job
• Perform a wide variety of cleaning and housekeeping duties
• Ensure and maintain CPRI's high sanitary and cleaning standards
• Utilize special cleaning processes, methods and chemicals for infection control
• Report any defects of housekeeping equipment or building services equipment to the Supervisor
What you bring to the team
Technical Knowledge
• You have demonstrated knowledge of WHMIS and Occupational Health & Safety Standards.
• You have demonstrated knowledge of special cleaning processes, methods and chemicals for infection control, isolation, and other special cleaning projects.
Communication and Interpersonal Skills
• You are able to understand and carry out oral and written instructions
• You have demonstrated experience working independently and as part of a team.
• You communicate well with colleagues and clients.
Maintenance Skills
• You have demonstrated knowledge and experience using cleaning equipment, materials and methods.
• You have demonstrated experience maintaining and cleaning housekeeping equipment and completing reports as scheduled.
