Metrolinx Talent Acquisition Office is seeking a Talent Acquisition Analyst to provide analytical support to the Talent Acquisition (TA) portfolio by planning and administering targeted TA programs, conducting analysis and providing recommendations for best practices and processes that focus on continuous improvement and program policy enhancements.

About the job

• Participate in dashboard development, performance measures, conducts assessments of internal recruitment data to deliver actionable insights that drive improvements for both TA and Talent Management
• Prepare workforce analytics, analyzes data and reports on key performance metrics for the TA function ensuring consistent reporting, forecasting, and the analysis of issues for HR and Business Leaders
• Collaborates with the TA team to develop and optimize TA Client experience surveys; conducts statistical analysis of results to assess the effectiveness of recruitment tools, processes and programs; prepares and delivers reports providing analysis and recommendations for improvements
• Act as a TALEO subject matter expert to the team on applicant tracking system (ATS) capabilities, data and reporting functions
• Develops a repository of reports based on data from ATS and other internal HR talent management databases with comprehensive analytical summaries for use in TA decision making
• Designs, implements and maintains an intern program that meets the needs of the business and builds the employer brand impression of Metrolinx at target Universities and Colleges and execute our talent acquisition programs in collaboration with business leaders and external institutes for Internship, Fellowship and Coop Programs.
• Provides full-cycle recruitment for campus roles, including though not exclusive to connecting with schools to coordinate on-campus interviews as required, supporting and building the program with the organization, proactively establish and maintain a working relationship with college placement offices, professional organizations and other agencies to source high quality applicants
• Develops and executes on TA outreach programs that deliver on our diversity and inclusion strategy
• Coordinates and manages the delivery / execution of Metrolinx Corporate Orientation programs both for employees and Managers
• Oversee talent resourcing continuous improvement projects to drive operational effectiveness
• Identifies and analyzes trends to facilitate short and long term business decisions and improve performance results
• Provides administrative support and oversight to the entire Strategic Talent Management budget including the tracking of all expenditures and establishing POs as required for new vendors
• Supports the financial management and tracking of contractual arrangements with external recruiters, temporary

What you bring to the team


Qualifications:

• Completion of a degree in Human Resources Management or related field – or a combination of education, training and experience deemed equivalent
• Minimum three (3)years' experience in the recruitment/ process of an HR environment including experience with data management and analytics
• Knowledge of Human Resources, specifically in the area of recruitment and staffing and related legislation (e.g. Human Rights Code, Freedom of Information Act, etc.)
• Research, analytical, and problem solving skills to provide analytical and technical support to Talent Acquisition functions and programs
• Analytical methods (e.g. SWOT, etc. ) to generate meaningful insights from the analysis of TA data
• Performance measurement processes and practices and key performance indicators (KPIs) to contribute analytics that form the basis of TA performance metrics
• Data visualization techniques to develop compelling and insightful dashboards and analytical reports
• Project management skills to monitor and produce project status reports and implementation plans
• Organizational skills and the ability to interpret and apply related policies, legislation and collective agreement provisions to coordinate all aspects of the staffing process
• Judgement skills to review advertisements to ensure they reflect job requirements and determine the most appropriate recruitment markets and media to attract potential candidates
• Expertise and advanced knowledge in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and applicant tracking systems
• Interpersonal and oral/written/presentation skills to prepare job postings, pre-screen qualifications, conduct testing sessions and reference checks, prepare candidate assessment documents, and prepare and deliver presentations
