About the job

You will:

• Assess client's business needs, and provide expertise and advice on financial planning and management
• Gather, analyze and monitor trends and financial performance, and perform financial analysis
• Identify financial trends, risks and opportunities, and provide reports and recommendations
• Develop and implement operational framework, business processes and tools to support the ministry's fiscal cycle reporting
• Assist in the development and implementation of training programs, communication tools and materials
• Lead and participate on cross-functional teams and projects

What you bring to the team


Financial and Business Planning Knowledge:

• You have knowledge of modern controllership principles, business planning, performance measurement and financial management practices within a large organization
• You have demonstrated skills in financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting skills

Accounting and Healthcare Knowledge:

• You have knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and sound financial and auditing practices
• You have knowledge of or the ability to acquire knowledge of healthcare strategies and priorities

Communication, Consultation and Relationship Management Skills:

• You can provide sound advice to management, clients and staff
• You can provide clear, concise and accurate information
• You can prepare and present complex financial analyses and reports

Research, Analytical, Problem Solving and Strategic Thinking Skills:

• You can conduct complex financial analysis
