If so, consider this challenging opportunity with the Ministry of Community and Social Services and Ministry of Children and Youth Services where you will provide executive administrative support to the Regional Management Team.

About the job

You will:
• coordinate corporate/regional projects and information
• plan regional activities such as meetings, workshops, conference and training sessions
• respond to queries based on knowledge of Region/District programs, roles, functions and activities
• prepare and compose various correspondence

The successful candidate may be located at any one of the identified locations within the Northern Region.

Administrative and organizational skills:

• You have demonstrated knowledge of administrative procedures relating to filing, mail distribution, typing/keyboarding, and document preparation.
• You have organizational skills and can prioritize your work to perform a variety of tasks within conflicting deadlines.
• You have the ability to multi-task and to work with minimal supervision.
• You have an understanding of records retention schedules and file management procedures to maintain filing systems.
• You have experience using office equipment such as fax machines and photocopiers.

Analytical skills:

• You have analytical and problem solving skills to resolve discrepancies and to ensure accuracy of documents.
• You have the ability to provide sound advice when responding to requests, enquiries and/or complaints.
• You have the ability to understand related procedures, programs and Ministry initiatives.
• You have the analytical skills to determine the most effective way to handle and present material.

Oral and written communication skills:
