About the job

As the Oracle Business Analyst, your responsibilities will include:
• providing expertise in data analysis, data-driven problem solving, data statistics and programming, and data visualizations
• gathering business requirements, designing innovative OBIEE and Hyperion based solutions to meet client needs, software testing and quality assurance;
• leading or participating in business intelligence and analytics projects to meet client needs;
• providing production support to clients as well as working with partners to provide immediate resolution to critical application incidents;
• providing functional and technical expertise in implementing and supporting large Oracle based business intelligence and analytics or Hyperion enterprise performance management systems.

What you bring to the team


Technical Knowledge and Experience:

• You have strong knowledge of data analysis, statistics and visualization techniques
• You have knowledge of financial and management accounting.
• You have a strong background in and knowledge of implementing and providing production support for large Oracle Business Intelligence and analytics applications (Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition 12c (OBIEE), Hyperion EPM, Hyperion Planning, Hyperion Essbase)
• You have demonstrated experience using business intelligence and analytics systems.

Project Management Experience:

• You have experience with formal systems implementation and current methodologies in managing projects such as Software Development Lifecycle and agile.
• You are very organized and able to meet deliverables and targets.

Analytical and Communication Skills:

• You have strong writing and oral communication skills.
• You are comfortable developing presentation and training material.
• You can present material to various clients, stakeholders and senior managers.
• You are a good problem-solver who can resolve issues effectively.
• You have strong analytical skills and are able to identify issues.
