If so, then consider this opportunity with the Technology Management and Solutions Integration Branch, Health Services I&IT Cluster where your contribution will influence and contribute to the success of health care initiatives and programs.

What can I expect to do in this role?

As an I&IT Senior Business Analyst, you will:

• provide a comprehensive range of I&IT business analysis services for clients
• promote the appropriate application of I&IT to business problems and undertake comprehensive business needs assessments and analysis of complex business requirements
• prepare and advise on business analysis policies, processes, best practices and standards to promote a comprehensive and consistent business analysis practice

How do I qualify?

Business Analysis Skills:

• you have skills and experience with business analysis methods, techniques and related tools to provide business analysis for clients
• you have analytical, problem-solving, and evaluation skills as they relate to business analysis
• you have experience with development of strategies, preparation of business cases, cost-benefit analysis, and conducting feasibility studies for business driven I&IT initiatives
• you have led and facilitated in-depth workshops to elicit, review, document and confirm business requirements, business process reengineering, business models, business rules and user interface design, and created technical framework/specifications for development of the business solution and/or infrastructure services or platforms
• you have business analysis knowledge and skills related to solutions in Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) and Telecommunications – Telephony/Radio

Advice and Expertise:

• you have skills with re-engineering concepts to promote business improvements through alternative service delivery approaches
• you have facilitation, persuasion and negotiation skills to engage business clients in such discussions
• you have knowledge of procurement methodology and practices to determine request for proposals (RFPs) requirements/specifications, execute technical procurements such as software licensing and data acquisition, and to participate in evaluating proposals

Communication and Customer Service Skills:

• you have communication skills with experience facilitating and making presentations and preparing reports for senior management
• you have customer service, business relationship management, facilitation, consultation and negotiation skills

Project Leadership and Management:

• you can participate in project scoping, solution options analysis and business case development by contributing detailed business requirements
• you can provide project planning, input and functional expertise for requirements development, testing and implementation of business systems/infrastructure solutions
• you can participate on project teams, monitor progress of business analysis tasks and project, resolves problems and provides status reports to I&IT management and business clients

Technology Knowledge and Skills:

• you have demonstrated knowledge of the software development life cycle
• you have proficiency with common office software and specialized software to document the outcomes of business analysis activities
• you have knowledge of enterprise architectural concepts specifically around the areas of business architecture
• you have knowledge of related current and emerging I&IT trends, policies and standards
