Eastern Region seeks an enthusiastic, results-oriented leader to direct staff involved in the delivery of the region's highway maintenance program by developing and administrating various types of maintenance contracts.
Your construction, maintenance, engineering and leadership expertise, as well as your diverse and broad experience in management, civil engineering and contract management, will assist you in delivering and oversight of highway maintenance in Eastern Region.
About the job
Reporting to the Manager of Operations, you will:
• Provide expertise on contract matters and ensure consistent management of contracts
• Provide advice and support on a range of managerial, technical, and contractual matters related to construction and maintenance contracts
• Handle complex issues related to contract administration, interpretation, performance and disputes
• Undertake special assignments or studies involving such issues as service delivery methods and related staffing and organization
• Review contract standards; and
• Implement new technologies related to construction and maintenance.
What you bring to the team
Mandatory requirements
• You are currently licenced through the Professional Engineers of Ontario (PEO)
• You have a class G licence or equivalent as recognized by the Province of Ontario
Technical Knowledge:
• You can demonstrate working knowledge of construction, maintenance, operation, design, and contract management of highway infrastructure

• You have demonstrated ability to build and lead effective teams.
• You have demonstrated ability to enable and support change within an organization.
