About the job
You will:
• maintain plumbing, heating and ventilation systems
• respond to service calls
• complete/maintain appropriate logs and records
• assist with other maintenance activities and special projects as assigned
What you bring to the team
Mandatory requirements
• You are a licenced plumber, recognized by the Ontario College of Trades.
Mechanical knowledge:
• You have experience with plumbing and other construction trades to perform planned maintenance on plumbing, heating, and ventilation units.
• You have good mechanical skills and experience using hand tools to perform repairs and installations.
• You can read and interpret blue prints, technical manuals and drawings and manufacturer specifications.
Other essential skills:
• You have experience working with a variety of policies, procedures and legislation such as OHSA, WHMIS, building codes, local by-laws, and fire codes.
• You have experience maintaining accurate and complete records, including work logs and inventories.
• You can organize and manage your time to complete assigned tasks.
• You have good interpersonal skills to work as part of a team.
