About the job

In this role, you will:

• provide technical team leadership to assigned staff and/or project teams
• provide application design, development and data management expertise, including performing analyses and assessments
• lead technical aspects of multiple projects
• work with internal staff and external consultants

What you bring to the team


Technical Expertise:

• You possess comprehensive knowledge of cluster technology platforms such as Java/J2EE and related multi-tiered I&IT technologies.
• You possess web design and development experience, including Hyper Text Mark-up Language (HTML), Asynchronous JavaScript and XML (AJAX), strong knowledge of Struts 2, AngularJS, JSP and being able to build dynamic UI (presentation tier) based on dynamic input from database.
• You have mobile application development experience (HTML 5).
• You have Service Oriented Architecture (“SOA”) design and development experience.
• You possess knowledge in BPM using WebSphere Integration Developer (WID) on Web Sphere Process Server (WPS) or Web Sphere Enterprise Service Bus (WESB).
• You have extensive knowledge of state-of-the-art IT security management, micro/mini and personal computer systems.
• You are knowledgeable of I&IT emerging technologies and industry trends such as Cloud computing, DevOPS, Mobile, BlockChain, and are able to apply Agile/Scrum methodology principals and best practices to support project deliverables.

Group Leadership and Communication Skills:

• You possess strong leadership and team building skills to lead multi-disciplinary teams and provide support and guidance to a wide variety of clients.
• You have well-developed verbal and written communication skills to explain and present very complex technical concepts and recommendations, provide instructions for less experienced team members and users, and to prepare systems and user documentation.

Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:

• You have proven analytical skills to assess complex information/systems needs and project priorities.
• You have the ability to conduct detailed application and systems analysis and design.
• You have trouble-shooting and problem management skills to analyze problems and determine root causes.

Organizational and Judgement Skills:

• You possess planning and organizational skills to manage concurrent and very diverse projects and assignments.
• You can use good judgment to provide advice and instructions to users and to make decisions on how best to deliver solutions based on client needs.
