About the job
• Supervise and coordinate delivery of park education programs including: information sharing, interpretation and education
• Develop and implement marketing plans and strategies to promote and provide public information through the park website, Twitter and print brochures
• Provide leadership and supervision to a team by communicating standards and priorities and coaching and mentoring staff
• Liaise with public, interest groups, stakeholders and The Friends of Algonquin Provincial Park (a not-for-profit organization)
• Provide assistance on human resources activities such as recruitment, employee relations, training and evaluation of staff, assigning work schedules and managing performance
• Plan, coordinate, direct and evaluate Park operations and infrastructure while ensuring compliance with public health and safety regulations

• You have knowledge of marketing principles and strategies in order to promote park usage and merchandise
Program Management:
• You possess knowledge of resource-based policy, programs, science and technology to ensure the integration of diverse programs is effective and understood
