About the job

As a Client Services Representative working within a team, you will:

• provide clerical, cashier and counter services to ensure the efficient operation of a court office
• receive, process and issue court documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness
• respond to telephone and counter inquiries
• prepare deposits for revenue and trust accounts
• compose correspondence and maintain filing systems

What you bring to the team


Technical Knowledge and Office Administration Skills:

• You have demonstrated ability to perform administrative/clerical functions such as filing/records management, record keeping and mail handling.
• You have the ability to interpret and apply relevant acts, legislation, policies and procedures relevant to the court operations.
• You have knowledge of court practices and procedures to process and prepare court documents.
• You possess keyboarding skills.
• You have proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, databases and electronic mail software applications.

Communication and Interpersonal Skills:

• You have communication skills to exchange information and write correspondence and reports.
• You have demonstrated customer service skills to deal tactfully and effectively with a variety of stakeholders.

Analytical and Organizational Skills:

• You have analytical skills to review legal documents against laws, rules and procedures to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• You have mathematical skills to perform basic calculations and cash handling skills.
• You have the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• You have demonstrated organizational skills.
• You have proven ability to work independently or as part of a team in a high-volume environment with strict deadlines.
