Consider the exciting opportunities with the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing to be part of a high-performing and multi-disciplinary team of professionals implementing provincial land-use planning policies and programs.

Team Lead (6 positions)
You will provide team leadership, project management, and professional planning expertise to multi-branch and multi-agency teams in the research and analysis of land use planning issues and provincial and municipal land use planning projects and studies.


Senior Associate - Land Economist (2 positions)
You will provide project leadership and expertise in the evaluation, development and implementation of land economics including options that will inform land use planning decision-making, and to provide related consultation and outreach services.


Senior Program Advisor (3 positions)
You will provide project leadership for evidence-based decision-making through information, data and knowledge management. You will be responsible for the development and implementation of information management strategies and best practices for the collection and reporting of land use planning analysis, municipal information and performance measures.


Senior Planner (3 positions)
You will provide project leadership and expertise in researching and analyzing land use planning issues to make recommendations for the development, implementation, monitoring and review of provincial planning policy and provincial planning approvals under the Planning Act and related legislation.


Planner (6 positions)
You will provide a full range of advisory and information services to municipalities within a region of the province to enhance municipal operational effectiveness, provide guidance on provincial requirements pertaining to land use planning and implement a wide range of ministry/provincial policies and programs.


Program Advisor (2 positions)
You will provide program analysis, coordination and project management support to the unit by developing, monitoring and reviewing land use planning analysis and information from ministry program areas and other stakeholders, conducting impact analyses, interpreting results and making recommendations.
