To fulfill its mission of provisioning voters' lists for provincial and municipal elections, the Register Division continually sources and aggregates millions of voter addresses and property records from electors and data partners.
Since voters' list quality is critical to election administration, we are looking for a performance and process-oriented professional to bring their proven expertise and passion for data analytics to this new role.
Starting Salary: $96,813 per year

About the job
Reporting to the Director, Register Division, you will:
• Assess information needs and develop the technology, process, and staffing plans needed to achieve objectives.
• Define the statistical framework for evaluating the quality of voter and geospatial data used to generate voters' list products.
• Prepare metrics and performance indicators for evaluating the quality of information maintained in the voter register.
• Develop analytical reports, presentations, and briefing materials for guiding data quality improvement efforts across the voters' list delivery value chain.
• Build relationships with data providers, such as MPAC, Teranet, Elections Canada, and various ministries to ensure the quality and integrity of supplied data.
What you bring to the team
What you need to qualify:
• Bachelor's degree in data science, computer science, applied math, information systems, or related fields.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques, applications, and research methods.
• Experience integrating data sets from various sources for analysis.
• Demonstrated analytical, evaluative, and research skills to perform data quality and accuracy analysis.
• Experience with data modeling and data processing tools, such as SSIS and SSRS.
• Hands-on proficiency with SQL and knowledge of GIS processing and tools such as ESRI ArcGIS.
• Project management skills needed to plan and conduct studies.
• Experience with reporting tools and business intelligence applications.
• Understanding of privacy legislation related to the protection and safeguarding of personal information.
• Experience recruiting and managing staff.
• Demonstrated consultation and collaboration skills needed to work effectively in a team environment.
• Passion for learning, knowledge sharing, and attention to detail.
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
This position requires in-office presence 3 to 5 days per week, based on operational requirements.Application Instructions:
