Health Data Branch plays a foundational role in data and information management that enables and supports the development and delivery of better programs and services for Ontarians. The branch oversees the central management of the strategic provincial health data assets by guiding how they are accessed, collected, used, safeguarded and shared to support the health system.

About the job

The Health Data Branch is looking for strategic leads to advance critical projects under the Data and Digital Portfolio, Clinical, Wait Time, Financial, Statistical and Administrative standards and transform Ministry data collection, acquisition, and management processes for key health data assets in the province.

Data Maintenance Unit (Recruiting for 2 positions in Toronto only): You will manage data collections/submissions and provide timely, high-quality data and client business and technical support services for health data products related to applications, databases and websites.

Data Access and Release Unit, Data Standards Unit and Information Management Support Centre Unit

Data Access and Release Unit (Recruiting for 1 position in Toronto only): You will provide data and analytical subject matter expertise for curated business intelligence platforms/tools, requests and reports to inform executive and program-level decisions

Data Standards Unit (Recruiting for 1 position in Toronto only): You will support the health system's needs by enhancing the consistency and accuracy of healthcare information through the advancement of clinical, administrative, financial, and statistical data standards.
