Effective April 1, 2024 the salary range for this position is $82,217 to $121,155 per year in compliance with AMAPCEO collective agreement provisions. The new rates, effective retroactive to April 1, 2024, were recently confirmed and dates for implementation of the new salary rates are still to be determined.

About the job

In this role, you will:

• Provide a comprehensive range of I&IT business analysis services for clients.
• Promote the appropriate application of I&IT to business problems and undertake comprehensive business needs assessments and analysis of complex business requirements.
• Prepare and advise on business analysis policies, processes, best practices and standards to promote a comprehensive and consistent business analysis practice.

What you bring to the team


Project Leadership and Management Skills:

• You have proficiency in managing small to large-scale Information and Information Technology (I&IT) projects.
• You can provide project planning, input and functional expertise for requirements development, testing and implementation of business systems/infrastructure solutions.
• You can lead project teams, monitor progress of business analysis tasks and projects, resolve problems and provide status reports to I&IT management and business clients.

Communication and Interpersonal Skills:

• You can lead workshops and make presentations to clients and senior management.
• You have facilitation, persuasion and negotiation skills to engage business clients in discussions.

Business Analysis Skills:

• You have experience with business analysis methods, techniques and related tools to provide business analysis for clients.
• You can lead and conduct business analysis both on an ongoing basis and for business projects to assess clients' business problems.
• You have skills with re-engineering concepts to promote business improvements through alternative service delivery approaches.

Technology Knowledge and Skills:

• You have demonstrated knowledge of the software development life cycle.
• You have proficiency with common office software and specialized software to document the outcomes of business analysis activities.
• You have knowledge of enterprise architectural concepts specifically around the areas of business architecture.
• You have knowledge of related current and emerging I&IT trends, policies and standards.
