Note: This is an operational position requiring a high level of engagement with the team and stakeholders. The successful applicant will be required to report to General Headquarters (777 Memorial Ave., Orillia) to perform their duties in accordance with Ontario Public Service workplace policies.

The Strategy Management Section supports the organization's executive and senior command in the development, implementation, measurement and reporting of strategic priorities. We also provide direct support to the bureau, region and detachment command in the development, implementation, measurement and reporting of action plan priorities. We are responsible for adjunct services including facilitation and project management which comprise the organizational planning framework.

Please note: Effective April 1, 2024 the salary range for this position is $92,920 to $135,056 per year. The new rates, effective retroactive to April 1, 2024, were recently confirmed and dates for implementation of the new salary rates are still to be determined.

Working closely with team members, you will:
• Provide leadership and supervision to a team of specialists in delivering programs and services, ensuring a positive, inclusive and collaborative work environment.
• Provide support and guidance to our Innovations from our Front-Line (IF) team, which ensures a healthy and fulfilling work experience for OPP members.
• Provide project leadership, and manage human and financial resources to facilitate the achievement of program objectives and excellent customer service.
• Develop and recommend evidence based program or service delivery options, and best operational practices and standards, to better achieve ministry program objectives.

• You can coordinate consultation and advisory meetings relating to program and service initiative with external and internal stakeholders, partners and consultants.
Relationship Management and Communication
• You can maintain networks and partnerships by using negotiation, interpersonal, diplomatic, facilitation and consensus building skills.
• You can provide customer service, enhances area's services and programs and lead committees.
• You have demonstrated, effective communications and interpersonal skills to provide guidance to team and advise partners and leaders.
