About the job

Although everyday may look different, as part of our team, you will:
-Lead and manage health policy and program projects
-Develop and implement health policies and programs.
-Ensure policy options consider research, funding, governance, and stakeholder needs.
-Create performance frameworks and measure outcomes.
-Build and maintain stakeholder relationships across jurisdictions.
-Advise senior management on policy issues and prepare analyses and communications.

What you bring to the team


Industry Knowledge and Skills

You have:
• experience developing policies, designing programs and evaluation
• familiarity with relevant health legislation and strategic direction
• you can develop and use performance measurement evaluation techniques.
• you can understand socio-economic issues affecting public and provincial health systems

Analytical, Problem-Solving and Research Skills

You can:
• Assess and interpret data for policy and program impacts.
• Identify public health issues, trends, and factors.
• Conduct research studies and analyze results.
• Organize and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.

Communication and Interpersonal Skills

You can:
• Build and manage stakeholder relationships.
• Persuade and present policy advice.
• Negotiate and build consensus for initiatives.
• Communicate effectively; prepare various materials.
• Use office software for research and preparation.

Project Management and Leadership Skills

You can:
• Plan and lead research studies using project management techniques.
