About the job

As a Master Level Policy Co-op student, you will join a team within one of various ministries in the Ontario Public Service and contribute to policy initiatives that drive change for Ontario. The focus of policy work will depend on the ministry you join, but you can look forward to tasks like:

• research and analysis for policy development
• preparing briefing notes and presentations
• using innovative policy development methods
• engaging in discussion with stakeholders
• helping with projects and studies for ministry priorities
• contributing to diversity, inclusion, anti-racism and accessibility policy initiatives

Email your school's co-operative education coordinator to register and join us at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 5, 2024. If you can't make it, don't worry — you can ask for a recording of the event from your co-operative education coordinator.

• the list of ministries can help you answer pre-screening questions #1, #2 and #3 when you apply.
• Upload your cover letter and resume in a single pdf document that is no more than 5 pages.
• Apply early. On January 5, 2025, we will provide managers who want to start recruiting earlier with resumes of applicants. If you apply after January 5, your resume will be provided to managers when the job ad closes at the end of January and miss out on the early submission advantage.
