Are you an experienced professional with excellent political acuity, strategic thinking and interpersonal skills ready for an exciting and challenging opportunity? If so, consider these positions supporting the Directors of two, dynamic branches.

Who we are
The Design and Engineering Branch (DEB) and Major Infrastructure Projects Branch (MIPB) in theTransportation Infrastructure Management Division (TIMD) collaborates with other branches and divisions to support MTO's commitment to a safe, efficient, and reliable transportation system. DEB provides provincial oversight to the design and engineering of highway infrastructure projects through project delivery teams and subject matter expertise in environmental, geotechnical, structural, electrical, traffic engineering, geomatics, and property functions that support project planning, design, and delivery.

MIPB provides end-to-end delivery of major highway infrastructure projects using non-traditional contract delivery methods and partnerships. The ministry's capital infrastructure program has more than tripled in the last decade, including several generational projects, such as Highway 413 and the Bradford Bypass. Delivery of major infrastructure projects requires a strategic approach that includes working closely with delivery partners and the adoption of new tools and emerging delivery models.

Consider this dynamic position in the Design and Engineering Branch or Major Infrastructure Projects Branch (MIPB) where you will support the Director's Office, lead key strategic and branch initiatives and special projects that have a direct impact on core operations and activities of the division and ministry. In these roles, you will report directly to the Directors of the Design and Engineering Branch or Major Infrastructure Project Branch.

Note:
• 1 Permanent position is for the Design and Engineering Branch (DEB)
• 1 Temporary - 12 months with possibility of extension is for the Major Infrastructure Projects Branch (MIPB)
