About the job

In this role, you'll:
• prepare and distribute routine, confidential and secure documents
• sort and distribute incoming and outgoing mail
• provide data entry support and services
• perform quality checks on processed documents to ensure they meet client standards
• provide assistance in training co-workers, junior, new or inexperienced staff

What you bring to the team

Mandatory requirements

• You will be required to lift heavy weights of up to 60 lbs or push carts of up to 1000 lbs.
• You must have a valid class 'G' driver's license or equivalent, as recognized by the Province of Ontario. The offer of employment is conditional upon the successful candidate providing proof that they have a valid driver's license upon being hired.

Customer Service Skills:

You can provide:
• optimal customer service experiences to clients
• provide general information to clients and other staff in person or over the telephone

Office Administration Knowledge and Skills:

You can:
• handle the day-to-day workflow of an office environment
• handle incoming/outgoing mail processing noting security and confidentiality requirements
• handle records management operations for storage and retention purposes and for easy retrieval
• ensure work is completed within established time frames

Technical Skills:

• You have keyboarding skill to input/retrieve data in a consistent format with accuracy, dexterity and speed on various databases
• You can sort, collate and scan documents

Attention to Detail and Problem Solving Skills

• ensure completeness and accuracy of data entered into databases
• organize and carry out a range of data entry, verification and validation procedures
• identify, document and report inconsistencies and errors associated with data
