We are seeking a highly dedicated professional to ensure the excellence of our division's data information systems in reporting and analytics. Your role is essential for providing information that guides strategic decisions, measures performance, and maintains data quality and integrity.

About the job

In this role, you will:

- Collaborate with divisional staff to translate business reporting needs into technical specifications, ensuring consistent, high-quality, and properly maintained data from various sources;
- Analyze and visualize data to identify patterns and provide insights;
- Provide expert advice on data collection and analysis strategies;
- Develop and deliver enterprise initiatives for continuous improvement in analytics and reporting tools and platforms;
- Ensure compliance with information management guidelines and maintain process documentation and report specifications.

What you bring to the team

Data Analysis, Data Governance and Data Management Knowledge:

- You have knowledge of data collection, data cleaning, data analysis, data mining, and data modelling techniques;
- You possess knowledge of statistical analysis software programs for quantitative analysis and data modelling;
- You can use business intelligence, analytics and reporting tools and platforms;
- You can provide advice on data management to support the implementation of internal data governance principles, guidelines and processes
- You have knowledge of data quality assurance processes, methodology and tools

Analytical and Problem Solving Skills

- You can identify and evaluate data, patterns and trends, synthesizing findings into actionable insights.
- You can apply critical judgment in selecting methods and techniques to ensure data integrity and achieve optimal results in analysis and reporting;
- You can research and assess data analysis, data management, and business intelligence practices and data visualization tools/software

Communication and Interpersonal skills:

- You know how to work effectively in teams and with stakeholders
- You have strong verbal and written communication skills;
- You can prepare and present visualizations reports, dashboards, and other technical products;
- You can develop collaborative relationships.

Technical Knowledge:

- You have knowledge of government strategic directions, legislation, and policies related to data analytics.
- You have expertise in various computer operations, data visualization and analysis software, modelling techniques, and relevant programs.
