About the job

In this role, you will:
• Lead business and program operations
• Manage agencies funding, program initiatives and office budget
• Prepare and provide consultative expertise for the identification, analysis and assessment of a broad range of program related issues
• Integrate and implement financial accountability processes
• Develop and implement project performance monitoring and reporting metrics
• Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships

What you bring to the team


Mandatory Requirements

• Proficiency in English as well as oral and written French Language skills at the superior level. Your proficiency level will be confirmed before hire.

Program Management and Business Knowledge

You have:
• Knowledge of program design, implementation, evaluation methods and techniques to provide management and expertise in the development and evaluation of programs and initiatives
• Experience with interpreting and applying policies and directives to the review and monitoring of financial transactions and provide advice
• Planning and organizational skills to manage projects
• Knowledge of project management principles including planning, goal-setting, and evaluation mechanisms
• Knowledge of research techniques to collect data for analysis and to develop tools and models to support projects

Analyzing and Problem Solving Skills

You have:
• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including financial analysis techniques and reporting procedures to conduct analysis and reconciliation of budget, expenditure and transfer payment data
• Experience identifying training needs and new opportunities to raise awareness of program services
• Analysis skills to interpret/apply policies, program frameworks to recommend policy options, procedural framework and implementation plans for issue resolution
• Experience providing information in response to environmental scans and emerging

Interpersonal and Influencing Skills

You have:
• Interpersonal skills to liaise and maintain stakeholder relationships
• Consultation and negotiating skills to build consensus with stakeholders and clients and provide consultation on projects and promote support for recommended approach issue

Communication Skills

• You have communication skills to prepare a broad range of material in English and French, including reports, proposals and business plans and make presentations to client groups and senior management

Computer Skills

• You have knowledge of computer applications for word-processing, slide presentations, spreadsheet to research and prepare materials
