The Forensic Investigation Team (FIT) is seeking a senior manager to join our leadership team. We are a centralized resource within the Ontario Public Service (OPS), providing enterprise-wide services in forensic investigation, forensic audit, and digital forensics. Our team also supports ministries and agencies through fraud prevention, fraud awareness training, and issue assessments. Our mandate includes addressing internal misconduct, serious fraud within or against government, and assisting Ethics Executives with disclosures of wrongdoing under provincial legislation.

To succeed in this role, you will:
- Lead a team of professionals by providing coaching, training, and ongoing development, and ensure alignment with forensic standards.
- Oversee the intake, prioritization, and assignment of digital forensic service requests from ministries and agencies across Ontario.
- Offer expert advice on investigations involving IT infrastructure, servers, and networks, applying sound judgment and technical knowledge.
- Ensure that investigations meet legal and evidentiary requirements and work closely with legal counsel and law enforcement as needed.
- Support proactive fraud and ethics identification and prevention through awareness training and targeted initiatives.
- Collaborate with senior leaders, I&IT clusters, and internal partners to support secure and consistent digital forensic practices across the public service.
- Represent the Forensic Investigation Team on cross-ministry committees and contribute to enterprise-wide service design and policy development

- The successful candidate may work from either Toronto or St. Catharines.
- Regular travel to the Toronto office is required to engage with your team and partners.

- Familiarity with business transformation and re-engineering frameworks, including business process research, analysis, and development methods.
- Knowledge of project delivery methodologies that support I&IT initiatives and the solutions development life cycle.
- Awareness of current information technology trends and their application to modernizing business processes and delivering client-responsive solutions.
