The Corporate Systems Implementation Branch, a newly created branch, is looking for Senior Business Analyst to be part of a team that will drive efficiency and innovation within Corporate Services Division and the Ministry of Health.

In this role, you will lead the development and implementation of projects and strategies to modernize our business processes and systems. Your business acumen and analytical skills will be integral to shaping the ways the Ministry of Health works in the future with a focus on efficiency, sustainability, and continuous improvement.

Note: This position is located at 438 University Ave, Toronto, however alternative work arrangements may be available.

About the job

In this role, you will:

• Process map services and deliverables of the division to gain insights into our operations and optimize processes.
• Spot improvement opportunities to increase efficiency and collaboration.
- lead the adoption and implementation of enterprise systems (TPOn, Planning Budgeting and Forecasting, etc.).
• Prepare business cases for proposed changes, evaluating potential impact and measuring benefits.
• Provide expert advice and develop strategies to track project success and align with our business objectives.
• Establish clear metrics and evaluate progress towards goals.

What you bring to the team


Business Analysis

- You have expertise in business analysis, modeling, and forecasting.
- You are proficient with process improvement methodologies and techniques.
- You can lead the development of business and process models

Performance Measurement and Evaluation

- You understand performance measurement systems and methodologies.
- You are skilled in developing and applying key performance indicators.
- You have experience in qualitative and quantitative measurement and evaluation.

Risk Management and Change Implementation

- You are competent in risk assessment and management.
- You can create solutions and plans for process improvement issues.
- You have experience with change management processes and tools.

Research and Strategic Development

- You have strong research skills for conducting environmental scans and literature reviews.
- You can identify trends and best practices in business process improvement.
- You have strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.

Communication

- You have excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- You are proficient in facilitating meetings and workshops.
- You are skilled in using standard office software for research, analysis, and presentations.
