About the job
You will:
• Plan, lead and coordinate reviews, studies, research and analysis to identify strengths and weaknesses of the current vendor management system
• Identify and develop options for streamlining processes and policies, planning strategies, concepts and approaches ensuring that improvements align with Ministry of Transportation's modernization goals, are sustainable, operationalizable, and enhance overall program efficiency.
• Coordinate and prepare analysis, reports, discussion papers and Cabinet submissions
• Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, deliver outreach and consult with stakeholders through individual sessions or facilitated structured workshops
• Provide process improvement and policy advice to senior management via analysis, reports, presentations and briefings
• Provide assessment of policy, economic, financial, and political implications and recommendations

You have:
• the ability to lead all aspects of program and policy development, implementation and evaluation
• the ability to provide strategic advice, programs expertise and technical support to senior management on a broad range of program, contentious and technical issues, and can develop strategies and recommendations.

You can:
• demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills to lead process and policy reviews, develop strategies and solutions to support ministry programs and delivery of key priorities.

• lead and coordinate research and analysis to revise policies or design optimized processes.

You have:

• proven interpersonal and consultation skills to develop and maintain effective working relationships
• consultation skills to identify areas of concern and discuss and resolve problems.
