About the job

As a Systems Administrator/Applications Developer, you will:
• plan, lead and build applications, such as website design and maintenance, databases, online ticketing and e-commerce solutions, and knowledge management solutions
• work with users to understand their needs and document requirements
• design and test database and application systems, ensuring they are usable and meet quality standards
• manage and troubleshoot online platforms on an ongoing basis
• support the migration of file server to SharePoint and One Drive and work on enhancing security features of MS 365
• Support day to day administration of organization's SharePoint as administrator
• work on major IT projects, such as implementing a new website and other digital products launches

What you bring to the team


Technical expertise

You are:
• able to show extensive experience in administration/development of MS 365 SharePoint, MS Teams, One Drive, Power Apps, with experience in Microsoft Admin Centre as a SharePoint Administrator in creating sites, adjusting permissions, working with Intune and Defender administrators and migrating files
• able to show strong awareness of current technologies, IT trends and best practices and ability to apply them to meet organizational goals
• skilled in developing applications in a Microsoft Cloud environment using NET MVC, MS SQL, and Team Foundation Server and SharePoint
• experience in managing public websites using content management solutions such as .NET Nuke, Drupal, and Umbraco
• able to integrate third-party APIs with Microsoft technologies
• experience with systems analysis, programming concepts/languages, emerging technologies and industry trends
• able to assess quality and capacity of existing systems and applications, while making recommendations for improving performance and preparing technical documentation

Research, analytical and problem-solving skills

You can:
• identify client needs, research solutions and make cost-effective recommendations
• identify, coordinate and troubleshoot problems and incidents
• stay current with new technologies to support IT strategy and provide advice on software solutions

Project management skills

You can:
• apply project planning methods to lead major IT projects aligned with the Centre's strategic goals
• use leadership skills to coordinate development of project plans, set priorities, provide technical guidance and assign activities to project teams
• use risk assessment techniques to select and support the best solutions

Interpersonal and communication skills

You can:
• build and maintain relationships with clients and management
• collaborate with technical teams to achieve goals
• demonstrate written and oral communication skills to develop and present technical documentation, reports, business cases and recommendations to management
