AGCO's Corporate Affairs, Policy, and Planning Division is seeking a Senior Manager who's curious, articulate, and passionate about uncovering insights behind the data. You'll collaborate with senior leaders to shape corporate performance and strategy, while empowering a talented team through coaching, mentorship, and change. In this role, you will report to the Director of Strategic Planning, Prioritization, and Corporate Performance, and support them in leading AGCO's strategic and corporate planning processes. You will also oversee the design, development, implementation, and steady-state oversight of measurement and analysis of operational performance, as well as continuous improvement and effectiveness across the agency.

About the job
• Ensure that the AGCO is positioned to advance the achievement of Corporate Performance objectives.
• Monitor the performance of the organization against the established performance measures and identify deviations and initiate a root cause analysis.
• Proactively identify opportunities for ongoing continuous improvement for the branch and across the agency through collaborative reviews with senior management based on strategic goals and performance measures.
• Work with the Project Management Office and business leaders to develop a consistent approach to the identification, prioritization, and ongoing tracking and reporting of projects or initiatives and the mobilization of corporate resources based on specific needs and demands of priority projects.
• Work with the Senior Manager, Strategic Planning to build and manage a center of excellence for Strategic Planning and Corporate Performance Measurement that engages business leaders across the organization.
• Develop and implement consistent frameworks that enable the establishment of, and measurement of progress against, divisional and branch level goals in a manner that supports and aligns with the Corporate strategic objectives and key performance indicators.
• Engage with leaders to identify areas where performance will be measured and cascaded.
• Develop specific performance indicators for corporate performance in addition to the balanced scorecard for approvals.
• Support annual planning cycles by collaborating with business leaders to provide insights to help achieve strategic goals by ensuring that the corporate performance measures are cascaded and aligned with corporate objectives.
• Report progress to accountable leaders and keep all affected parties apprised of the information.
• Oversee the creation of the Policy & Procedure documentation, maintenance, and curation procedures to ensure consistency of program delivery.
• Work with business leaders to develop and maintain performance reporting processes and procedures to ensure a consistent approach to Corporate Performance Measurement and reporting at all levels of the organization and to support alignment with the Corporate performance measurements.
• Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external business partners and stakeholders to ensure effective addressing of performance with a high degree of accountability.
What you bring to the team
The ideal candidate will have:
• Minimum 5 years of progressive relevant and leadership experience, including building and managing high-performing teams and driving performance in complex environments.
• Proven ability to develop and successfully implement performance measurement frameworks that support strategic planning and evidence-based decision-making within a senior leadership role.
• Demonstrated success supporting setting the multi-year strategic corporate plan and prioritizing as well as identifying key KPIs of the outcomes.
• Experience driving organization-wide culture change to implement the adoption of a performance-driven culture and mature performance measurement framework.
• Strong background in data analytics, business intelligence tools, and programming languages for reporting and analysis.
• Experience in public sector or regulatory environments is preferred, with a solid understanding of Ontario's liquor, gaming, cannabis, and horse racing sectors.
• Skilled in strategic thinking, policy analysis, and interpreting legislative and regulatory frameworks to inform decisions.
• Knowledge of risk management, project management, and change management principles, ideally within a government or regulatory context.
• Strong political acuity and ability to navigate sensitive issues and consultations with diverse partners to achieve positive outcomes.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence decisions and foster alignment across teams.
• High ethical standards and professionalism, with a commitment to integrity and transparency.
• Post-secondary education in one of the following fields: Public Policy, Political Science, Law, Economics, Business Administration, or relevant work experience.
• The successful candidate must be eligible to work in Canada and will be subject to a criminal background check.
