Effective, April 1, 2025, the new salary range for this position will be $84,478.00 to $124,487.00 per year in accordance with AMAPCEO collective agreement provisions.

The Ministry of Transportation is looking for an experienced and solutions-focused individual with a drive to improve how public service is delivered. As a member of our dynamic and diverse Continuous Improvement and Service Delivery Excellence Office (CISDEO) team, you will work directly with ministry executives and senior leadership teams across the Ministry of Transportation to design and implement ministry-wide transformation and business improvement initiatives, and to lead and advise on strategy, visioning, priority planning, change management and modernization in alignment with key government objectives and priorities.

Corporate Services Division
This division is responsible for providing business support and leadership to the core businesses of the ministry in managing its finances, human resources and facilities.

Organizational Effectiveness Branch
Organizational Effectiveness Branch is committed to driving impactful change within the Ministry of Transportation, with a focus on improved delivery of the ministry's core mandates. The Branch provides change leadership and delivers transformation, strategic planning, program evaluation, and lean & continuous improvement services to MTO's divisions and executives.

Continuous Improvement and Service Delivery Excellence Office
The Continuous Improvement and Service Delivery Excellence Office (CISDEO) is a change management and service improvement centre of excellence that both leads and supports a broad range of identified priority projects from a continuous improvement lens. CISDEO's mandate is focused on modernizing the ministry's integral services and processes, as well as leveraging innovative methodologies related to Lean, program evaluation, business process reviews, and optimization to co-create solutions with their clients.

About the job

As part of team of change professionals, you will:
• be responsible for the development and delivery of a ministry-wide operational and strategic plan, that identifies and organizes critical transportation priorities to guide near-term actions and decision-making for every level of the organization
• work collaboratively across the ministry and across government to identify current commitments, emerging transportation trends and resulting future needs to inform prioritization and planning
• use strategic planning principles, develop engaging and highly visual products, plan and lead workshops and discussions with senior leaders and ministry executives in delivering the operational and strategic ministry plan
• support other ministry transformation goals, including working directly with divisional leadership to scope and strategize problems that need solutions, facilitation, optioning, recommendations, and change management implementation
• have a unique opportunity to contribute to shaping and informing the future of transportation and its priorities that have a high impact on lives of the people of Ontario

• You can identify opportunities to streamline, scale and continuously optimize initiatives considering the best available evidence

Relationships and Influence Skills:

• You have strong people and networking skills to develop effective and strategic relationships with ministry partners
• You have experience building support, managing power dynamics, influencing outcomes, and motivating partners towards strategic goals
• You have experience working with multiple stakeholders and clients to plan and lead consultations, understand and negotiate competing perspectives and build buy-in, engagement and agreement on solutions
