As the divisional representative for the Regional Operations Division, this position leads resource management advice and divisional coordination and implementation.
As a Divisional Indigenous Initiatives Coordinator, you will:
• Lead and contribute to projects and new initiatives
• Assess needs against regional and divisional priorities and develop solutions
• Lead or coordinate Indigenous strategic and operational planning, including environmental scans
• Provide operational leadership, advice, and guidance through consultation, negotiation, and conflict resolution
• Develop and deliver Indigenous training for ministry management, staff, partner ministries, agencies, and stakeholders

• Research and evaluation skills to address needs, issues and concerns of the public and ministry partners
• Strategic thinking to identify and assess gaps and opportunities for business/ process improvement
Knowledge
You have:
• Knowledge of Indigenous studies, treaties and agreements to lead, facilitate and/or provide advice related to Indigenous affairs within the Division
