About the job
You will:
• provide receptionist services, in both French and English, for a Regional Office of the Public Guardian and Trustee
• provide program-related clerical and administrative support services to staff of the Regional Office
• provide effective front-line customer service to a diverse group of clients, the general public and various stakeholders
What you bring to the team
Mandatory:
You must possess oral French language skills at the advanced level. Your proficiency level will be confirmed before hire.
Customer Service, Interpersonal and Communication Skills:
• you have demonstrated customer service and interpersonal skills to provide front-line service and good telephone manner in order to perform receptionist functions and provide factual information
• you have demonstrated oral and written communication skills to respond to inquiries, provide information to clients and develop reports
• you are able to demonstrate tact and sensitivity to communicate with clients
Organizational and Prioritization Skills:
• you can work in a fast paced, high volume environment in both telephone and face-to-face situations
Technical Skills:
• you have demonstrated knowledge of general office procedures to facilitate the administrative operations of an office
• you are proficient with common office software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and databases (e.g. Public Guardian and Trustee Enterprise Desktop) to type and access information
