Lead analytics for complex, high-impact transit projects.

The Partnerships and Analytics Branch brings together data, partnerships, and policy insight to support how transit and communities are planned across Ontario. The team works at the intersection of analytics and decision-making, helping leaders understand complex information and move major initiatives forward.

As Manager, Analytics, you lead a team that turns data into clear, usable insight. You guide how information is collected, structured, and analyzed, and you translate technical findings into practical advice for leadership. You work across the branch and with partner organizations, connecting analytics to real decisions.

In this role, your work helps shape how transit-oriented communities are developed across Ontario. You support decisions that influence housing, transit use, and how communities grow. By strengthening how data is used—from modeling to performance tracking—you help ensure decisions are informed, consistent, and focused on outcomes that matter to people.

About the job

We believe great leadership starts with high standards and strong support. In the OPS, that means showing up with authenticity, acting with integrity, and having the courage to do what's right, even when it's hard.

As a leader, you'll shape a team culture that sparks innovation, supports collaboration, and champions inclusion. You'll help build a workplace that is diverse, anti-racist, and accessible, where everyone feels safe, respected, and able to thrive.

You won't be doing it alone. We invest in our leaders through mentorship, learning opportunities, and cross-ministry networks that help you grow your impact and connect with peers across the organization.

Leadership is about impact, and in this role, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful one. You will:
  • Lead a team that delivers analysis and insight to inform decisions on transit-oriented communities across Ontario.
  • Translate complex data into clear advice that supports senior leadership decisions on projects, policies, and priorities.
  • Support the development of complete, connected communities by enabling timely, well-informed decisions on projects, policies, and priorities.
  • Work with partners and internal teams to align information and resolve issues so projects and decisions can move forward.
  • Build team capacity by coaching staff and supporting their development in analytics and policy to strengthen the quality and consistency of program insights.

Meet your New Team

You will lead a small, technically skilled team that brings a range of expertise in data analysis, modeling, and program insight. The team works closely with others across the branch and with partner organizations, contributing to shared priorities and supporting decision-making across the program.

As the team continues to take on new responsibilities, there is an opportunity to provide direction, strengthen clarity in roles and processes, and support a more consistent and connected way of working.
