As a member of the Justice on Target team you will support the goal of achieving faster, more focused justice by targeting 30 percent reductions in the overall provincial average. This role will support the ministry's strategy by leading an exciting multi-faceted change agenda that will utilize the knowledge and skills of a seasoned change management professional.

About the job

You will: act as an expert resource on change management techniques and practices; conduct and facilitate stakeholder consultations and presentations; develop and modify implementation plans and projects to support the change management process; develop and evaluate change- related performance measures, methodologies and tools; lead and participate on networks and committees to ensure change management considerations and the JOT mandate are incorporated into business decision-making; and, liaise with and establish productive relationships with justice partners.

Please note some travel will be required.

What you bring to the team

Mandatory requirements

expert consulting and relationship management skills to maintain partnerships, gather organizational information and coordinate multidisciplinary initiatives; knowledge of change management, transition planning and related theories, practices and techniques such as group dynamics, team development, competency-based performance models, leadership development, employee motivation and/or adult education; leadership, facilitation and oral/written communication skills with sound judgement and discretion; project management and coordination skills to plan and coordinate workload in a project-driven environment; general knowledge of Ontario's criminal justice system and criminal court operations, stakeholders and issues; and, proficiency in using computer software including word processing, email and internet/intranet applications.
