About the job

Bring your dynamic leadership abilities and superior marketing skills to Ontario's most visited cultural attraction with 1.2 million visitors per year. You will manage the marketing function (including an advertising agency contract) and develop significant value added initiatives and promotions to leverage the budget to maximize the support of Business to Consumer and Business to Business programs. You will market the Ontario Science Centre, OMNIMAX Theatre and programs to the general public, to sponsors/partners/donors and to other visitors that include Teachers/students and Tour Groups.

• Superior marketing and emarketing experience and skills to generate exceptional value and return for marketing expenditures and effort.
• Demonstrated experience in managing advertising agency contracts and projects.
• Proven ability to introduce innovative strategies, tactics and partnerships to extend marketing reach and budget.
• Successful experience leading marketing initiatives in sensitive, high profile environments.
• Superior management skills as well as proven experience using modern management techniques e.g. advanced team leadership, performance management, staff development, customer service skills and experience to manage, motivate, train, direct a multi-dimensional team.
• Able to collaborate with staff in other branches to develop business plans and budget as well as manage a business centre.
