Join this multidisciplinary team and apply your mixed skill-set in the IT forensics to lead and conduct investigations, IT forensic audits and review potential risks related to fraud and dishonesty in the IT environment.

What can I expect to do in this role?

You will:
• lead and participate in the conduct of IT forensic investigations
• provide IT forensics expertise and consultative advice to colleagues and client ministries
• develop, update and maintain corporate IT policies, standards and guidelines pertaining to investigation of IT fraud
• act as a technical resource

How do I qualify?

Technical Knowledge

You have:
• demonstrated skills in conducting IT forensic investigations and audits related to fraud or dishonesty
• an understanding of related professional standards and security methodologies, tools, techniques, and security design and architecture, threat or risk concepts and practices, and emerging technologies
• knowledge of fraud related to law, rules of evidence, judicial or quasi-judicial processes

Project Management and Project Leadership Skills

You have:
• knowledge of project methodology and project leadership skills to provide project planning and leadership on concurrent projects including cross government projects and to manage deadlines and competing priorities
• relationship building skills to build and nurture strong working relationships, work cooperatively with stakeholders and act as trusted advisor

Communication, Negotiation, Consultation and Advisory Skills

You have:
• oral and written communication skills to prepare investigative reports with detailed findings and recommendations, draft strategies, policies, standards, templates and related technical materials
• consultation skills to act as a technical resource and provide expertise and advice to ongoing contacts
• mediation, facilitation and advisory skills to lead and participate on project and work teams and apply influence techniques to adapt a presentation or discussion
