About the job

You will:
• provide technical expertise and management to support configuration items within the Oracle and Peoplesoft architecture Data Dictionary
• provide advisory and consultative services on systems strategy
• provide technical consultation to senior management

What you bring to the team


Technical Skills:

• you have knowledge and experience of Change and Configuration Management practices in a technical environment
• you have knowledge of programming methods and techniques, and programming skills to create interfaces and generate reports
• you have knowledge of database management, data structures and relations databases
• you have a demonstrated understanding of relational databases to maintain the configuration process

Reasoning and Problem Solving Skills:

• you have problem solving skills to evaluate the Change and Configuration Management processes in support of development of policies and procedures
• you have demonstrated knowledge to support the problem analysis process
• you have trouble-shooting skills to analyze problems within the Oracle/PeopleSoft infrastructure
• you can create reports and analyses, and implement changes
• you can recommend improvements and provide support in developing application policies and procedures

Communication and Interpersonal Skills:

• you have oral communication skills to explain the use and application of databases, recommend improvements and provide support
• you can prepare audit reports, data configurations and assist in the preparation of policy and procedural manuals
• you have interpersonal skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical personnel

Other Skills:

• you have knowledge of training methods and practices to address user competency
• you have demonstrated knowledge to provide technical support in the evaluation of Change Management and Configuration Management Processes
