About the job
Working in the .NET Solutions Delivery Centre Architecture Services Office you will:
- plan, manage and coordinate the effective transfer of client business requirements into architecture & design documentation through analysis of information and business/stakeholder consultation;
- analyze, define, develop and implement the I&IT architectures, policies and standards;
- ensure the provision of timely and authoritative application architectural advice and support to a variety of stakeholders;
- assess, define and recommend on the structure, standards and relationship between suites of applications;
- develop and revise I&IT architecture artifacts based on Ontario Public Service and .Net Centre of Excellence standards and guidelines.

What you bring to the team
Technical knowledge and skills:
- You have demonstrated experience in systems analysis and design for large or medium sized environment (i.e. Microsoft based .Net Framework 3.5 and/or 4.0)
- You have knowledge of iterative, model-driven application development techniques and tools and emerging IT technologies, trends and directions
- You have knowledge and experience in the development and implementation of application architecture methods including multi-tier architectures, component based model, application patterns and object models
Communication and consultation skills:
- You have oral and written communication skills
- You have excellent consultation, advisory, negotiation and consensus building skills
- You have the ability to work both as a team player or team leader
