About the job
In this role, you will:
• Accurately perform data entry functions, prioritize work and input and review source documents
• Provide imaging, scanning and uploading services for storage and retention purposes to ensure records are easily retrievable
• Process search and retrieval requests using electronic recording and tracking systems
• Perform document imaging related tasks by imaging documents, repairing, sorting and filing
• Provide high level of customer service through interactions with a variety of people
• Make decisions and resolve issues by determining appropriate actions and following up on information
What you bring to the team
Mandatory requirements
• Data entry to a minimum of 6,500 keystrokes per hour
• Bona fide occupational requirement of this position requires ability to lift 30lbs
Technical Skills
• You can conduct unit work within high volume environments and fixed deadlines
• You have demonstrated knowledge of data processing procedures to input and retrieve information
• You can operate and maintain document processing and imaging equipment
• You have knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act
Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills
• You can update and retrieve statistical data to identify and correct errors
• You can determine priorities and process high volumes of data with accuracy
Communication and Customer Service Skills
• You can respond to inquiries and provide information to clients
• You are able to develop effective working relationships with all levels of staff, clients and stakeholders
• You can produce written correspondence and reports
Computer Skills
• You are proficient in word processing and database software
• You can maintain statistical data, perform tracking functions and generate reports
