About the job
In this role, you will:
• Assist in payment and data processing;
• Reconcile financial statements;
• Perform financial planning, analysis, monitoring, control and reporting services;
• Develop and maintain financial coding or tracking structure and reporting systems;
• Oversee other accounting and financial functions and data processing for various community health service providers.
What you bring to the team
FINANCIAL PLANNING SKILLS:
• You have demonstrated experience in financial planning, analysis, budgeting, monitoring, payment entry, and controllership related functions.
• You can generate and validate financial and statistical reports.
ANALYTICAL AND EVALUATION SKILLS:
• You can examine and interpret financial records, prepare a range of cost projections and review operating statements for health service providers.
• You can assess funding documents and identify discrepancies.
ACCOUNTING KNOWLEDGE:
• You have demonstrated knowledge of accounting policies, processes and practices.
• You can prepare budget forecasts and identify expenditure trends.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
• You are proficient with software packages (e.g. MS Outlook, Excel, Power Point and Word).
• You can maintain databases and process a variety of financial forms, reports and routine correspondence.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS:
• You have demonstrated written, oral communication and interpersonal skills.
