The eHealth Liaison Branch is looking for a highly motivated self-starter to be part of a dynamic opportunity to influence eHealth directions in Ontario. eHealth is an enabler of health system transformation and you will be an active participant in the development of eHealth program strategy, drawing upon your exceptional leadership, business management, and stakeholder management skills.
About the job
You will be providing oversight for a portfolio of eHealth initiatives, including leading the implementation of robust program management frameworks in support of the provincial eHealth agenda. This will encompass managing internal and external health system stakeholder relationships, leading business reviews, and contributing your expertise towards the resolution of complex program issues.
What you bring to the team
Advanced Business Management Skills & Experience:
• You have superior strategic analysis and problem solving skills to conduct complex business analysis, assess risks, determine alternatives/options to address contentious and/or complex controllership, accountability and performance issues;
• You have demonstrated knowledge of management principles, risk assessment, and financial analysis to review submissions, project proposals, cost estimates, and performance/financial reports in order to identify and assess problems and develop recommendations to address them.
Knowledge of the Health Care Sector & eHealth:
• You have a good understanding of Ontario's health care and ehealth sector (e.g. how the health care system works, the role of Local Health Integration Networks, eHealth Ontario etc.) and an understanding of province's strategic objectives for health care and ehealth.
Stakeholder Management & Communication Skills:
• You have excellent stakeholder management skills, with political acuity and understanding of critical issues and concerns faced by a variety of health care and ehealth stakeholders;
• You have demonstrated ability to build strong partnerships/working relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
• You have excellent written/oral communication skills.
Leadership & Project Management Skills:
• You have proven leadership and project management skills with the ability to plan and lead concurrent projects, cross-functional teams and work groups;
• You possess the ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines and competing priorities.
