Metrolinx is seeking a commercial real estate lawyer to join its team of legal professionals. Reporting to the Vice President, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary, the successful candidate will work on a variety of matters relating to the company's real estate portfolio in Ontario.

About the job

• Assisting in transactional work such as acquisitions and dispositions;
• Providing corporate / commercial support;
• Reviewing and drafting contracts, including purchase and sale agreements, leases, licenses and easements

What you bring to the team


Mandatory requirements

• membership in good standing as a Lawyer in the Law Society of Upper Canada.

Knowledge and Experience

• Strong academic credentials
• Extensive experience in commercial real estate from a leading law firm or major real estate player.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a challenging, fast-paced, team environment.
• Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and communication (both oral and written) skills.
