About the job

Work Description:

You may be required to work on some or all of the following tasks:

• Welcome visitors, conduct tours and provide historical interpretation of museum artefacts
• Provide care and maintenance of the museum and artefacts
• Respond to requests for group/bus tours and/or special events
• Conduct security checks for visitors to the museum/building and containment of artefacts
• Responsible for opening and closing the museum
• Maintain records for admissions; manage cash and complete transactions
• Provide community outreach in support of interpretive programming
• Participate in the design, development and delivery of public programs
• Plan, organize, coordinate and manage assigned work
• Work may require experience specified/listed in the questions below
