On behalf of the Mortgage Broker Regulators' Council of Canada (MBRCC), the Regulatory Coordination Branch of the Financial Services Commission of Ontario (FSCO) seeks a highly committed, innovative, motivated and results-oriented individual to assume a national role as Policy Manager of the MBRCC Secretariat. The Policy Manager will provide expert advisory services and policy recommendations on cross-jurisdictional mortgage broker regulatory issues to members of MBRCC and its committees, and will support all MBRCC initiatives and activities as well as coordinate and manage all MBRCC meetings and projects. Travel is required, including some weekend travel.

What you bring to the team


Knowledge and Skills:

Demonstrated leadership, project management and policy development skills; Comprehensive understanding of the mortgage broker industry and related issues, practices and trends; knowledge of mortgage broker legislation and regulation; Exceptional written and inter-personal communication skills; Excellent knowledge of the mandate and policy direction of MBRCC; Technical and team leadership experience in the financial services sector and/or a regulatory environment.

NOTE: As a result of the recently agreed to AMAPCEO collective agreement, a new job evaluation system will be implemented on October 1, 2013 and the job code identified in this posting is subject to revision; in the new job evaluation system, the classification level of this position has not yet been determined.
